About

Dr. Hussain Wahab is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions, skilled in both surgical and non-surgical care. He has a sub-specialty interest in paediatric orthopaedics and trauma, built on a dedicated paediatric orthopaedic fellowship and a sustained record of research, teaching, and clinical audit.

He currently practises as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at HBS Medical & Dental College, Islamabad, following senior registrar, fellowship, and trauma-unit leadership posts in Islamabad and Peshawar. His clinical work spans fracture and trauma care, correction of limb deformities, and knee replacement surgery, alongside the paediatric orthopaedic conditions that remain his particular focus.

Emergency and planned care for broken bones and traumatic injuries, from initial fracture management through surgical fixation and rehabilitation.

Joint Replacement

Knee replacement surgery, including revision procedures for a knee replacement that is no longer functioning well.

Limb Deformity Correction

Correction of lower limb deformities using fixator-assisted surgical techniques to restore alignment and function.

Paediatric Orthopaedics

Diagnosis and management of orthopaedic conditions in children, including complex and rare presentations.
